STAR-ETIC is a European initiative between Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands with a common goal:To create a basis for registration of team care interventions in arthritis, and to investigate different aspects of structure, process and outcome of team care in hospitals and rehabilitation units in Europe.

The European Team Initiative for Care research
The STAR-ETIC project was started in 2005 to deal with the shortage of studies concerning team care rehabilitation. In 2006 we were14 researchers from 4 countries who supported by a EULAR grant decided to start this networking in team care research. We were all influenced by participation in the CARE conferences which have focused on nonpharmacological care research.
